Studio Based Workshops and Courses

South West Art Courses offer studio based classes for adults, with a wide range of one-day workshops and longer courses suitable for all abilities and experience. We also offer courses designed for school age learners with an interest in art and design, which can be delivered to students with special educational needs.

We offer a huge selection of courses and workshops in a large vatiety of different techniques; these are just a few of those that we offer: painting (watercolour, acrylic, oil), printing, drawing, and textile art. You are sure to find something that you'll enjoy in our wonderful, welcoming, purpose designed and expansive studios, in Sherborne, in the Southwest of England.

City & Guilds Approved Centre

We are proud to be a City & Guilds approved centre delivering and assessing art & design qualifications. Having started by delivering courses to students from Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire,  we are now in the progress of expanding our portfolio of courses to make them accessible to students around the world (see below for further information).

Long Distance Learning
