Colour Mixing March 4th 2025

Carolyn will take you through the most useful rules from the colour wheel to help you in your painting. Working with watercolour, you will practice mixing colours using primary and secondary colours. We will also discuss the difference between different blues, reds and yellows. Demonstrations and guided tasks will enable you to practise mixing colours so you always know where to start when trying to mix a certain colour. There is a maximum of only 6 places for the workshop to ensure that everyone obtains maximum contact with a tutor. All materials for the day are provided including a sketchbook for your paint mixing 'recipes'. (If you do have you own paints and brushes please bring them along.) All refreshments are provided. Parking Please note there is no parking directly at the venue. There is on-road parking in the road opposite or in The Avenue where there is a walk-way to the studios. Coldharbour pay and display carpark is a short walk. Disabled Parking We have 2 disabled parking bays for blue badge holders directly outside the door to the studios that may be reserved in advance.
