Description

Embroidery is an amazingly versatile way to decorate textiles. In this workshop you will learn the basic stitches that will equip you to create beautiful designs. No previous sewing experience is necessary. Taking time to hand stitch sample pieces, the key is to maintain regular stitch length and even tension. This way you will establish a rhythmic pattern of working that will support your style going forward with future projects. You will explore different fabrics and threads and how to apply them together create exciting dimensional stitched compositions. All materials are provided (and coffee and cake!) for this enjoyable relaxing creative hand sewing session. Parking Please note there is no parking directly at the venue. There is on-road parking in the road opposite or in The Avenue where there is a walk way to the studios. Coldharbour pay and display carpark is a short walk.
