Online Foundation in Textile Decoration

TEXTILE DECORATION FOUNDATION WORKSHOPS Course will run weekly in term time, on Mondays 18.00 - 20.30PM Starting 7th July 2025 Working with sketchbooks to record and experiment with ideas, we will explore colour, line, texture shape and form in a variety of textile techniques. We will learn a range of embellishment techniques, including beading, sequins, appliqué, stitch, and fabric manipulation. This course will teach you a range of stitches, textile pattern design and decoration that will provide you with a solid foundation upon which to move onto further study with our Level 2 City & Guilds Textile Decoration courses. A comprehensive list of suggested equipment and materials will be emailed to you upon booking, but I do try to promote the recycling of any fabrics or yarns that you may already have to hand.
