Our calligraphy tutor Steph, teaches a step-by-step process by breaking down calligraphy into the basic foundational strokes, so this course is perfect for beginners. In this workshop you will learn the calligraphy rules (and then how to break them) by going beyond the basics where Steph will teach you style, loops, and bounce. By the end of this class and with the practice that you put into it, you will be able to paint in your very own unique style of modern calligraphy. You can then use this skill to address envelopes, gift tags, make beautiful signs for your home, or personalised gifts for others. It's also a skill that is relaxing and enjoyable to practice as a hobby. All materials and refreshments provided. Parking: Please note there is no parking directly at the venue. There is on-road parking in the road opposite or in The Avenue where there is a walk way to the studios. Coldharbour pay and display carpark is a short walk. Disabled Parking : We have 2 disabled parking bays for blue badge holders directly outside the door to the studios that may be reserved in advance.
