Wire Sculpture - Wed 25th September

NEW WORKSHOP! Only 6 places to ensure maximum tutor contact time. Jenni will take you through everything you need to produce striking wire sculptures in either 2D or 3D. The morning is spent creating the frame of your form using wire. Then in the afternoon, we work on 'dressing' your frame with material, wire and paint. The 2D pieces can be fixed to a board or straight to a wall. The 3D are fixed to a base for display. Please bring with you some reference of the form you would like to work on. All materials are provided. Please bring gloves to protect your hands. Relatively fitted gardening style gloves are often suitable. You need to be able to feel the wire through them! All refreshments are provided - please bring your own lunch. Parking Please note there is no parking directly at the venue. There is on-road parking in the road opposite or in The Avenue where there is a walk way to the studios. Coldharbour pay and display carpark is a short walk. Disabled Parking We have 2 disabled parking bays for blue badge holders directly outside the door to the studios that may be reserved in advance. Please email admin@southwestartcourses.co.uk to book.
